Ian Anderson recorded Thick As A Brick 2 as a solo artist, without Jethro Tull (really, without Martin Barre...the only Tull member who to stay in the group since he joined in '69 or thereabouts). I wouldn't mind going to see it when they come to Nashville but I wonder why it's not an official Tull record. To me, TAAB is a landmark album which is why I find the whole thing surprising.
