"There's a SEQUEL to Jethro Tull's Thick As A Brick?"

Ian Anderson recorded Thick As A Brick 2 as a solo artist, without Jethro Tull (really, without Martin Barre...the only Tull member who to stay in the group since he joined in '69 or thereabouts). Apparently, this came out a few weeks ago. The famous newspaper artwork from the first album has been replaced by an online version http://www.stcleve.com/

Ian Anderson will be touring with his band performing both the original and the sequel in concert.

I wouldn't mind going to see it when they come to Nashville but I wonder why it's not an official Tull record. To me, TAAB is a landmark album which is why I find the whole thing surprising.
