"Man I wish Tevin Campbell would drop an album"

this Brother gots to be in the top ten Most Underrated Artists ever.

his voice and talent was the last closes thing to Michael Jackson for my money.

oh man if Tevin did an album where he just either did standards or updated his thing would be tight.

if Tevin could have R.Kelly, babyface and El Debarge write and Produce on him with an orchestra backing him it would be tight.

this Brother is too talented to be sidelining it like He is Luke Walton or something.

its a tragedy this Brother ain't on the charts fo real.

I think that's why Tevin left the game, cause "Back To The World" from 1996 went unnoticed as well as his 4th album (which was self-titled) from 1999 didn't even have one decent hit; I think he came in at the right time but when his voice changed so did the sound of r&b and he couldn't hang.

His image was starting to take a strange turn, by the 3rd album he had O-Dog braids and the weed head purple lips. He just wasn't cool anymore. Plus content wise most of the big records from the 2nd album were too way too sexual, where was he going to go after that?

Here's the 1st video off of his 3rd album to refresh your memory

Voice was still great, the song was good, but neither of those things mattered enough when it came time to market the project.
