"De La Week: Who did the Source give credit for Prince Paul's Work"
I can't remember if I ever knew this. Like I threw on Buhloon Mindstate today (btw that's a fucking perfect album) and when Paul's Revenge came on the first name that popped in my mind was Easy Moe Bee, but I don't even know where I got that from. Does anyone remember exactly what that whole skit was in reference to?

My favorite.

I remember none of this but I want to know as well.
>Also Trugoy man. Trugoy. I know yall love Pos. But Trugoy >yall!!
They're both incredible. I slightly prefer Pos, but that takes nothing away from Dave.

..."incarcerated" albums, "The Ruler's Back." I think he ALSO produced some of "Behind Bars" (I've heard a snippet of a version of the title track produced by him), but I think Def Jam went and had it further remixed by "hotter" producers at the time, like Pete Rock or Warren G.
"was the source was mentioning behind bars in 93 ??"
....even though it was recorded earlier, it didn't drop till 94 ...that makes me assume it was "The Rulers Back" LP, which Vance Wright produced ...unless he was talking about Large Professor or SID, who remixed tracks on the 12"s for "Its a Boy" and "Mistakes.."

I assume he was talking about "The Ruler's Back" on that skit, as back in '91 the Source was still doing production credits in their reviews. What I meant was that I know he ALSO produced songs for "Behind Bars" but they were remixed, so his beats didn't make the cut.

Warren G did the more famous/video version "dum di de dum" remix

he was mentioned as one of the original producers on the album in the source, but his stuff was remixed once the album dropped. i think he just realized the original behind bars version this past year. it's dope, and it still stands up after two decades.
