this is how t3 feeds his family. he's going to keep an incarnation of slum village around until he can't get booked any more. i can't knock the hustle.

Pay your bills, fine, but this is some next level fuckery.

He dropped Elmatic. Hopefully he drops a solo album soon....hopefully it has Will Sessions on it. He needs to have Will Sessions produce an album with original material.
14. "come up with some original new fly shit man. using SV name is wack" In response to Reply # 6
ain't no other way around it. i almost feel like that shit is borderline and irreverant.
there is a heritage and legacy involved. 2 Members are deceased. RIP. like, you don't feel some certain kind of way about running with that name still? c'mon bro.
they could kind of flip it into something new and exciting and fly and original and pay homage to the SV name. call the new crew Dirty Slum. or Slum Scrilla. be fuckn original. leave the SlumVillage name alone cuz that ain't what it is no more.
its like method man and nas doing an album and calling that shit a wu tang album.
its like gangsta boo getting with currensy and calling it a 3-6 mafia album.
its like havoc getting with RA the rugged man and calling it a mobb deep album.

20. "eh, rock bands do this all the time" In response to Reply # 0
and I don't really feel any kind of way about it. Lynyrd Skynyrd is probably the most prominent example in terms of deceased members, but Van Halen and AC/DC were pretty big deals that seemed to work out for most people.
If you want to play in a band that's called what your band was always called, go ahead I say. You know better than I do.
