Just listened to it last week actually.

Definitely on the low end of the "rank DJ Quik's albums" list but it's still damn good.

personally none of them are BAD either...Da game is to be sold is the worst one, but even that isn't horrible, it's like 2/5 which is almost bad but might get a pass. He has a few 2.5/5 albums too.

you know I'm a huge Snoop fan and west coast rap head just like you but cmon...every copy of "Da Game is to be Sold..." that ever left the shelves was a frisbee within a year. I still own and have every Snoop album on my computer, except that one. And I'm one of those people that NEEDS to have full discogs. There's just no reason for that one.

I mean to each his own but at its BEST that album is a 1/5.

And I realize this album is polarizing but as far as Jay goes, Blueprint 3 is a bad album.

Pac After Makaveli (that was released posthumously but recorded in life) is doo-doo

I personally think his albums are a mixed bag, even the good ones but not the kind of doo-doo that followed his death

there's a reason why we dig certain albums or eras of said act because none of the whole holds up

even their bad boy albums bang pretty much straight through. they might not have more than 3 or 4 classics, but they definitely don't have any bad albums.

i played it twice and hated it.

More fish was okay but i dont really count it as an LP really.

and Big Doe Rehab was solid, and Apolo Kids was a banger (not all that creative but but dope beats dope rhymes)
