But yeah, most of his releases so far have been instrumentals. Can't wait for the new Diamond District album. That was give me that Oddisee production and rapping that's needed.

Great track. I also love the beat he did for the "Raw" remix. Mello Music Group keeps putting out quality ish. Really looking forward to the Apollo Brown/O.C. album and maybe a new diamond district album sometime in the future?

the early mixtapes are damn good. diamond district is damn near a masterpiece IMO. his remixes and loosies are always fire. i still need to listen to Rock Creek Park, tho

I feel like his career benefited from focusing on making beats

Foot in the door isn't even on the same level as

Odd Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter

or Rock Creek Park

I hope his album has about 4 tracks max of him on the mic

I think his MC skills have improved since Foot in the door

but not enough to overshadow his supreme beat making talent

oddisee could probably slay 90% of emcees out right now, dude is simply a monster on the mic. too bad he doesn't put out more material. his beats are hit or miss though.
