"What CREW/CAMP has the most Classic LP's to you?"

This should be interesting. What CREW has the most Classic LP's to you? If this has been done, sorry in advance. Here are the choices

1. Wu Tang Camp
2. The NWA Camp (Ice Cube and Dr Dre included)
3. The Native Tongues Camp
4. Bootcamp Click Camp
5. The Young Money Camp
6. DITC Camp
7. The Organized Noise Camp
8. The Ruff Ryders Camp
9. The No Limit Camp
10. The Juice Crew Camp

If I missed any, add on. To you, which camp had the most classic albums and better overall music? All of these camps in their own right has some great LP's and a movement.

**I lean towards The Native Tongues because of Tribe and De La but I also see what NWA and Wu Tang has done as well.

When I think of NWA Camp LP's
1. The Chronic
2. Chronic 2001
3. America's Most Wanted
4. The Death Certificate
5. Straight Out Of Compton
6. Lethal Injection
7. Doggystyle

but I lean toward:

1. People Instinctive Travels
2. 3 Feet High and Rising
3. Low End Theory
4. Midnight Marauders
5. Stakes is High
6. De la Soul is Dead
7. Beats, Rhymes and Life
8. Straight Out The Jungle

but.........

1. 36 Chambers
2. Forever
3. Ironman
4. Cuban Linx
5. Liquid Swords
6. Tical
7. Return of The 36 Chambers
etc...

Those might be the best 3 to me but I will lean towards Native for post sake...

Wu

then NWA

Then Native Tongues, I love ATCQ, but not so much De La, and I never really "got" The Jungle Bros.

I must add...

THE D.O.C-No One Can Do It Better
and
NWA- N4Life

to this list

>When I think of NWA Camp LP's
>1. The Chronic
>2. Chronic 2001
>3. America's Most Wanted
>4. The Death Certificate
>5. Straight Out Of Compton
>6. Lethal Injection
>7. Doggystyle

But to answer your initial question, I'd have to say it all boils down to what your perspective is and what type of music you dig most.

I'd say Native Tongues but i'd never argue with anyone who said NWA or WU.

Now if someone said maybe DITC or Bootcamp Click or No Limit, i'd have to shake my head simply because as someone mentioned before, WU, NWA and Native Tongues are top 3 for sure.

That should be a given for most who are familiar with that era.

they got Kane's first two, G Rap's first three, Marley's first compilation, MC Shan's first one, Biz's first three and Shante's first album
once you add Masta Ace's discography it pretty much gets VERY sticky for everyone else

Both the albums put out when he was alive were good. The first, damn near classic.
>Bobby Digital has 4 albums!!

And 2 of them are hot!

>Method Man - T-2000 Judgement day

This really ain't a bad album. Bloated, but it has some great stuff.

they have more than 2 classics, you're foolin' with this one
you've got Diamond's first LP, and you have Lord Finesse's first LP
then you have Showbiz and AG's EP, then OC's first album (and if his 2nd album isn't a classic it's pretty fucking close)
we can stop there but there are others for contention

They do have some great LP's. I wrote that my G. Classic is thrown around way too much on this board. Classic is "The Chronic". No the best LP from a dope MC. It's a little more to it than that. On a side note, Jewelz by OC is one of my personal favorite LP's. DITC is dope. I wouldnt put their LP's on a higher level than the ones I mentioned earlier but thats just me. They are NYC legends though. Diamond Stunts, Blunts and Hip Hop was the first record I got with my own money so this is no disrespect to them..

I want to say Wu but the reach that NWA has in making classics is just *smh*

From Straight Outta Compton to Doggystyle you have a LOT of problems. I mean if you even take any thing not direct from the 4 members and just include DOC you still got PROBLEMS. Cube got 2 official classics on his own. Dre got two and the group got two. NWA then WU.

I think Wu probably is winning cause they are still making music, the Native Tongues members don't record that much except for the last ones who became sort of members such as The Roots, Common, & Mos Def.

As far as Wu-Tang members go, in the past couple of weeks I've been in sort of a Wu-mood, been listening to "W", "Iron Flag", Mathematics "Problem", Shyheim "Rugged Child", "Sons Of Wu" compilation, and Theodore Unit.

like 3 EPMD LPs

3 Redman LPs

1.5 Keith Murray LPs

plus if you wanted to argue for the Def Squad album, another Redman album and another EPMD album i wouldn't yell at you.
