the rumor went "he turned them down".

nothing in Rocky's comments sounded firm to us.

...why did he turn 'em down? what's the implication for turning down an XXL cover (or any magazine for that matter)?

has anyone done it before? how did the people at XXL feel about him not being able to do it?

even if his answers were "vague" there's no one pressing him to be specific on why he didn't do it.

more questions should've been asked. i understand the "reporting" was done based off of another interview (which in itself is another issue), but to really distance yourself from the rest...dig a bit deeper and rely on your own sources.

I just think he's got a "sound" and it's hot now.

I like maybe one or two songs from his mixtape. I don't know his music well. I like his features with Smoke DZA and Schoolboy Q though.

I really like it... The beats initially pulled me in, but I'm liking his rhymes... It just took me to hear the right song first to pull me in... Besides the opening track on his mixtape, Clams Casino gave dude some dope beats...

drake and nicki were never 'freshmen' and they're doing ok.
xxl & the source are basically a free photoshoot for establish artist and don't count for anything
