In regards to "talent" being "minimal"
A good half of the most famous artists ever weren't even
close the most *talented*
Janet Jackson, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Britney Spears,
Aguilera,etc etc etc were at least 70% song writing and producing
combined with a "look"
MIA is no less talented than all of them chicks
And her schtick and angle are far more original, bitch
shouts out Tamil Tigers on her records...none of them
hoes do any of that, sorry

Minaj's schtick is already old. She can rap well, which is
why I support her but she's trying the "saturate the market
with myself" strategy (a good one) because she is going to
fall VERY fast because she doesn't really care about anything
and has a wildly superficial fan base
Her fall will be about as fast (or faster) than 50 Cent's
50 had the same problem: no REAL allegiance from fans. It
was all superficial
M.I.A. has a real angle: the 3rd world shit, the guerrilla
shit.....its a gimmick, all right but its a dope, effective
one and is why she's different. Its far more sustaining.

and weird. He's got fantastic production/ear for beats

Odd Future are transforming into a clothing and iconography
company because their music sucks (its clear at this point
that their music has little to do with their fame at this
point)
