"I bought this RARE Malcolm X cassette at the thrift store yesterday"

from the prices that people are selling it for on amazon says that its very very rare....I listened to some of it last night and its very heavy....legendary audio with james earl jones and ossie davis doing the commentary. Is it extremely rare and has anyone heard it or have it.

This is the soundtrack to a doc/film about Malcolm that came out in the '70s.
Spike references it a few times in a few places; a couple articles I can't find, the director commentary to his film MALCOLM X (I think), and if I remember right was cited in the original script for Spike's film (written by some other cat whose name I can't recall).
I don't have the DVD in front of me, but I believe this documentary is included on the second disc of the 2-Disc MALCOLM X DVD.

I saw this new book at krogers grocery store last week and I was looking at it and it looks very articulate and very detailed with the pictures and excessive pages. when I get a chance, Im going to get this book......ive already requested the library to get it.

I doubt anyone will ever pay those prices for it on cassette since it's available real cheap on disc but I say if you bought the tape then enjoy it for what it is.

Truth is, it is not worth that much, so don't expect to get that much either.
