I Am is not a dope album. Stillmatic is about a half-dope album. God's Son is about 1/4 of a dope album. Street's Disciple if whittled down from two discs could be maybe another half of a dope album. Hip-Hop Is Dead......no. Untitled.....I liked it a lot more than most, to me probably the best one (non-Lost Tapes) since Stillmatic up to that point. Distant Relatives....probably his most cohesive & best of the past ten years, best tour of his career as well.
Let's see who actually makes the album...because an album with Diplo,DJ Premier,No ID, Exile and Odd Future makes no damn sense. Plus you know Salaam Remi is gonna have a bunch on joints too...I hope I'm wrong...but I think this album is gonna be a bunch of No ID & Remi

Really looking forward to the new Nas album regardless but I dont hold out much hope for this. either the joint wont make the album or Nasir will pick something wack from Ex. There's going to be 2 No ID joints. and 8 remi joints anyways.

Much as some folks hated on it was written for supposedly selling out, I like IWW very much... but that 3rd album... that was a sell out record. Havechecked for anything except made u look since... but regardless of that... its good to see somebody from the underground going hard on the mpc freaking samples working with a major artist/legend.

I'm not discounting anyone who says IWW was a "disappointment", because I can understand that viewpoint. Sure, there was a lil Boosted Honda Civic Music on it but you could live with it. I AM... as released had a lot more turds in the mix. If they had kept all the tracks Columbia removed and replaced with rushjobs, it would have been at least another IWW. Which would have been just fine.
