"Artists or Labels from the 90's worthy of a Box Set"

i was thinking back to 20 years back how excited i was when I got Star time box set from James Brown, and the the next year Earth,Wind and Fire's box set and then Aretha Franklin's and the Ray charles's, Marvin gaye's etc.. in the years to come

now I ask you which Act or label from the 90's would you invest into getting a box set from and why?

R.kelly i'd get a box set and I know it would something else.

Death Row as far labels go would be interesting and as would he Laface records.

uptown records might have something as well.

if Outkast had a few more things I'd say them. Mary J Bliege maybe.

Slundgarden if they had have done a few more albums I'd say yeah.

same with Vince Gill.

Britney Spears might have a interesting Box set one of these days.

add on

mistermaxxx R.Kelly, Michael Jackson,Stevie wonder,Rick James,Marvin Gaye,El Debarge, Barry WHite Lionel RIchie,Isleys EWF,Lady T.,Kid creole and coconuts,the crusaders,kc sunshine band,bee gees,jW,sd,NE,JB

Miami Heat, New York Yankees, buffalo bills

not only do they have a shit load of great albums
they have sooooooooooooooo much unreleased material and collaborations with the infamous mobb it's ridiculous
for a mobb deep fan a box set would be great.

And it's quite the opposite. I like Mobb Deep.

I'm just saying I wouldn't pick up a Mobb Deep *Box Set*. I'd be all over a Greatest Hits, but not multiple discs of their joints.

Not that I'm a fan or anything, but to be the woman with the most #1 hits, she would have to be considered.

Especially if it came coupled with the documentary and a decent-sized book.

actually, boxsets in this era should/will be more focused on the producers and writers than artists, I think

A few off the top:

NIN will almost certainly have a *crazy* boxset someday (probably several)... considering how epic his approach to releases can be in general, a total retrospective will probably be absurd.

Tori Amos already got one, but she probably use another one or two, for sure... with the amount of b-sides and boots she's released over the years.

Someone above said Mariah - I def agree with that... might not be huge, but she could easily fill 3 cds w/strong material and it'd be nice to hear some not-specifically-for-the-market stuff...

There will need to be a solid Tony Toni Tone set someday, for sure...
