I'm tired of these songs dripping out one by one though...... let's get this album out there and move on to Jody. Also worries me a little this is being called "the first single" in some pieces I've read. Makes me wonder if they aren't happy with the album and are reworking things.

Outside of Beddie Bey and Weak At The Knees, it's a very solid LP.

(i.e. is Steve just fronting a random Dam Funk song here? Cameo was also notorious for releasing entire albums of material with different front men)

I had the exact same though when I heard this a few weeks ago... I'm not down on Dam but I am getting a little concerned he's getting a little too comfortable. The way he is churning these tracks out tells me he might be wise to take a little more time and try some new things. I was hoping Steve would open his eyes to some new ideas and sounds but so far it sounds like Dam is happy doing Dam-Funk records with Steve singing.
