the loop is essentially a build to something that never arrives, but the build itself doesn't stop. like bangin a hot chick and your about to nut the whole time but you just never bust. it's dope but kinda frustrating in that sense, if that makes sense.

actually i notice that with all of these; you use 'tension' in your tracks very well. tension in 'connect' is great in that the tension goes a few different places. same shit though, it switches but

nice shit. it never resolves though. why you keep dry humping our ears?

I'm really feelin' Something and Connect. the latter is one of those joints that are so subtle as an instrumental, but you realize how dope it really is with an emcee goin' in on it. nice stuff.

I'd like to hear a higher quality version of #21. I can hear a banger there but it's kind of obscured by the lo-fi quality.

So Long is knocking.

L'afriquency is killer. The synth you use on that one is nice as hell, especially its interplay with the sample.

Futureafrofunk, nice.

Overall, I like all of your beats, mehn.

Come to grips with the fact that most OKP's are of the Nut Hugger lineage, so, if you' re not part of the little cliques that exist 'round here, your posts will probably tank like Souljaboy's album sales.

I use Sony Acid Pro. Have been using it for almost ten years. What you using??

I'm using Reason and then feeding it into the SP-555. Got a bunch of vinyl, analog synths and a field recorder.

I really dig your stuff. You should be on some label making stuff for emcees. That emcee you got on those first few tracks is ill, too....kinda has a Nas-like sound but does his own thing. I'm big into the "how it sounds" vs how your samples were chopped (if that makes sense) and I can tell you have a really good ear. Each track sounds lush and the drums are on point. Good engineering skills. Keep up the good work, brudda.

that is something i want to do but don't know where to start. if this were a long time ago, i would think DAT or minidisc on the cheaper side of the spectrum, but today i don't know what people use.

You can record in stereo and dump right off the card into your comp. THe mic is really high quality. Used, if you are looking you can scoop em up for under $100. I think Daddy's Used Gear has one.

I also use a little Sony handheld tape recorder for tapey lofi field samples.
