Mic Murphy... this was before he looked like the Jamesway version of MJ, that sounds like a great collection though... that underground sound of New York in that period was DOPE

was also part of the Jack Sass Band. Before this previously unreleased album came out, the band had 3 singles out.
One 45-single in the 70's (with picture sleeve), the Slave-ish sounding maxi-single "Much Too Much" (1982 - 25West Records)
and another maxi-single around 1984. All these singles are also luckily added to this rare album.

She's one of my favorite songwriters.

.........on their coming soon list, they really don't say if it's the japanese import their getting in or not. But, there's been times, when i bought Japanese imports,and paid that high import price. Come to find out later, that it's being put out, by another source(usually an import), and it's cheaper than the one i bought. Case in point,the Heatwave reissues. Bought the Japanese imports, only to have the imports put out by BBR,with same quality, at cheaper prices. Same thing with Ernie Hines "Electrified". Japanese import was damn near 30 bucks. It got a second release, in england, for 11.99. Sorry for this long ass response lol !!! But, keep your eye on Dusty(they have a Japanese import 29.99, as i type), but i think the one being release on March 15th., will be cheaper.

Edit: Just checked over at Amazon, and they have pre-orders for this cd, for 11.99, and they'll be getting it in, on April 19th.

Yeah, and the US & European reissue-market is catching up as well when it comes to quality mastering,
so you're right that it actually wouldn't matter much today. Japan did a lot of reissues during the early
to late 90's and i've emptied my pockets many times during those years lol. Broke but still funkin' on.
