he's one of those emcees that I really like when his stuff drops, but sometimes I honestly just forget about him after 2months. maybe it's his voice not being memorable, or not having super quotable verses or something, but I haven't disliked anything I've bought/downloaded from him

I was at the record store today picking up some stuff I ordered and as I'm about to leave I remembered about this album coming out recently so I copped it.
Get in my car and start playing it and I realize they were playing it while I was in the store and I didn't even know it. Its like my subconscious mind realized it and reminded my conscious mind to purchase it.
Haven't even finished it yet but I already know I'm gonna love it from the first half of the album, track with Blu is nice and Holyday is amazing
I really liked Day Late and a Dollar Short too but I can already tell he has matured a lot as an MC since that album

it's a diss. he went with the "let me lay on this here keyboard and record whatever happens" style of beats and i don't like it. a few songs work. some are awful.

"somewhere between our first breath and our last we fall in love with somethin. it isn't planned. it creeps up on you and you don't know it until you're wrapped up in it. you get a feelin in your stomach like your spraying your name on a wall, and between your breaths and the sound of paint flyin outta the cap, you hear a siren in the distance. do you freeze? or do you finish what you came to do? the truth is i wake up everyday with these cans strapped around my waist like i'm fuckin Batman and the city is my colouring book. why? coz why not? we all gotta rise to the occasion at some point in our lives, and i live each day knowing that if i'm gonna fall it's gonna be from the sky while i'm writin my name on the stars. after that, i'll probably wake up, make a cup of tea, and get a real job."
