They old as hell but it's nice to see important members of a legacy band recording and touring - not like those shows where it's presented as "The PLatters" but the oldest guy in the group was a replacement that came in the 80s.

His next album, Unlearning Vol. 2 is coming up.

Vol. 1 was probably my favorite album of 2021, so definitely glad to see him putting out his own music again after largely focusing on producing others in recent years.

He produced this single and I know in the past he said his goal was eventually to produce his own album - but then said it’s tough to do that when he can get Alchemist and Nottz beats.

it's like her Mr. Morale. very rich in depth and artistry, but short on vibes and fun and easy listens. an OBVIOUSLY very personal album, as was Mr. Morale. as such, it makes it something i don't wanna just throw on and bump. yet, it is still one of the best albums of 2025. does that make sense? i will listen to this more (i've played it front to back 5x), but not A LOT. i wonder if she follows this up with her GNX (which is Kendrick's most listenable, re-playable album IMO).

love this album. i know the reviews are mixed because usual Turnstile fans are like "oh, this is a different direction sonically than what i'm used to" but it being my first introduction to them? one of my favorite rock albums of the year and will be on my year end list.

I'm not familiar with T.F by Khrysis is dope. I enjoyed it. The rapping is good even if nothing spectacular and the production is great of course.

T.F. had an album with Roc Marciano on production a few years ago called “Blame Kansas”, which was a good album. That’s where I first heard of him.

I agree with your assessment. Solid rapping, dope production. Khrysis is one of my favorites, and I think this is one of the best produced albums he’s done. I’m really enjoying this album.

Excited for the Mass Appeal run to get started. Not sure I have high expectations but I would love for them to be great.

i really fuck with UK rap. been peeping AJ Tracey for awhile. this is really good (not as good as Central Cee which is a top rap album this year to me). starts a little slow but really kicks up about halfway thru. still wanna listen to this more.

okay, so i HOPE people don't sleep on this, but i'm sure they will. in The Lesson i said that Little Simz new album was like her Mr. Morale, and i was wondering if Simz next album will be her GNX...well, Leikeli kind of dropped what I imagine a Simz' GNX might sound like. this is super dope. love the production and Leikeli is just as talented as Simz when it comes to spitting, maybe more (i dunno). IF you like Simz, i'm certain you'll like this.

Tecca is one of my favorite artists. I'm not even gonna bullshit you - he sort of makes the same album (or at least that's true for his last few) but i don't hate it at all. he's so good at picking production that suits what he does, which is provide the VIBES, and i LOVE that he creates these fire transitions between all his songs on his projects. it makes the albums flow so well. this will be on my year-end list.

Still feel like we're missing some big drops this year but a lot on my list today.

Daz - funny enough I randomly revisited Revenge, Retaliation, and GetBack a couple months ago. Great album. And I was listening to the Murder Was the Case soundtrack earlier today and yesterday. So I’m in the mood where I might check this out just on the strength of the glory days callback, even though I know there’s zero chance the sequel will ever live up to the original classic.
