Tesla down 14% yesterday following the Twitter war btw Trump and Musk. Late in the after hours, rumors spread that the two have a planned call for a truce today. Pre-market, Tesla is up 5%.

Trump has proven time after time that he’s a con man. The guy loves drama and the spotlight - regardless of the means for attracting it. This could be all for show. Think about all the horrific things he’s said about his own allies who seemingly have no backbone or principles and now bow down to him. As rich as Musk may be, he ‘doesn’t have the cards’ in this fight. The only party that embraces Musk is the Republicans, and even within that party he’s nowhere near as respected as Trump. Tesla stock has no business being as highly valued as it is. Its volatility lies in its potential - which is significantly dependent on government contracts. Trump holds the cards there.

The Epstein thing is overblown imo. Everyone knows Trump’s a dirtbag. The majority of his base either wouldn’t care or just would refuse to believe it. Not sure what else Musk would have on Trump. It’s looking more and more like Musk played himself.

Dems should press the issue/concern for why a guy like Musk was given access to so much power in the first place. Real Republicans *should* be shocked by the immense power Trump yields. This should be another wake up call, but unfortunately ppl and the media will just move on to the next topic of the day.
