Prince, B. Brown, James Brown, Chris Brown,
So ultimately Bobby doesn't relate to Usher.
Usher is more concerned with doing what the people love, he's not so deep into a musical identity. Usher is more in line with New Edition, and the solo identity that camp was trying to carve for Ralph.
Usher practices everything in front of a mirror Chris will Chun Li that mirror
Chris doesn't deserve the next MJ but I understand it's a different type of passion, so it doesn't make sense to give it to Usher either.

Ok. Once that is acknowledged (and I agree that its right), I do think the person who has the closest claim to being the Heir apparent to MJJ is Bruno Mars and if you want to keep it to black people it's the Weeknd.
The weekend. Superbowl. sold over 75 million records, seven diamond-certifications. Has the Most Songs to Reach 1 Billion Streams on Spotify. Has the closest thing to a MJJ than any other of these singers with "Out of Time".
I can appreciate what Bobby Brown is saying because Bobby Brown is on my R&B Mount Rushmore and Chris Brown is closer to BB than any other artist out there.
I am a huge Usher fan and he is the polished King of R&B while Chris Brown is the Bad Boy of R&B but neither is approaching MJJ because they just don't have the cross over appeal that MJJ had.
I also think Chris Brown is the hardest working man in R&B. Dude always has something out.

That negro plays zero instruments and can’t dance.. AT ALL.
Bruno is dope but he is like the Will.I.AM of R&B. Too many of his songs feel like copy and paste cuts of other hits mashed together. He does that shit extremely well tho.. lol.
Love his project with PAAK.
Hell.. I actually think PAAK is a better option than Weeknd now that I think about it. Sings, raps and plays instruments.
but Breezy was the best option before the Rhianna thing happened.

Yall just be on here lying while the rest of yall don't even question it lol. He said Chris Brown is the closest to MJ IN HIS OPINION, because of the passion and all out nature of his performances, mainly. I don't really care to argue this kind of thing, but no need to lie on the man for OKP engagement.

that is the way I view these statements.
like how they do with MJ comps in basketball
Who would be the face of the league/industry
I think Breezy was headed for that spot. Often wonder what his performance at the Grammy’s would’ve done for his career.
