I know some people on here don’t think Black dollars have any power but NAACP has released an advisory on who pulled back from DEI and who didn’t.

I shop at Costco and they always try to get me to upgrade my membership and due to their stance on DEI I’m finally going to do it. Plus its finally around the time when I have to renew my membership and they always seem to ask me right after I renew.

at my house? we stopped shopping at Target and ngl it's been a LITTLE hard especially cuz they are the easiest to just order shit and swing by and pick it up, but we are making it work.

the convenience is how they get you. if you can forego that, you can sucessfully boycott anything.

Aside from being much cleaner and less crowded, my wife and I have always preferred Target over Walmart. Unfortunately, we don’t have a Costco nearby (closest one is 45 minutes from our home) and live in a pretty conservative area, but might need to hit them up. I’ve been a member of Amazon for 20+ years. I don’t think quitting cold turkey is a viable option right now, but would definitely like to reduce our consumption through Amazon. The convenience is tough to beat, but I’d be a hypocrite to talk about their shitty policies while spending $$$ on their products.

might be worth it for items like papertowels, toilet paper, coffee, detergent, etc

Target is easy for me, rarely shopped at there. Walmart too.. while I do save on some things, fuck them. Sucks because its 2 minutes from the crib but I have a Costco, International Grocery Store, Aldi’s, Food Lion, Harris Teeter, Publix and Lidl in a 5 mile radius so no excuses for me.

get's too slow for comfort and/or the screen cracks, I'm going to have hell trying to find a suitable Android alternative. I loath having to go back to Samsung since the non-Pixel devices take forever to get Android system updates, but I think I'll have to bit that bullet.

Costco might be the most anti-union retail giant in America

I mean pick your poison. In the end , Prime and Costco are pretty great for consumers.

But qualifying one retailer over another on ethics is a fool’s errand.

they had like 2 or 3 incidents that had people boycotting. thats the only reason they didnt participate in the DEI ban or whatever they calling it

Remember how boycotts work.

Company X does something wrong, we boycott them to impact their profits until they do the right thing.

Contuning to boycott them after they do the right thing totally defeats the point of boycotts and doesn't encoruage company's to do the right thing.
