Do you wear fragrance(s) everyday?

If so, what have you been wearing the most in the last few months?

What are your all time go to's that you'll always have in your rotation?

Do you wear unisex frangrances, or even ones that are labelled for the opposite gender/sex?

Do you mix your fragrances (wear more than one at a time)?

What's the most you've spent on a scent, and what was it (c'mon, flex on us)?

my thing w/ fragrance is never the price.

i just like stuff that smells different/unique (to me of course).

there's like 100 colognes from the myriad of makers that all smell like Cool Water, etc.

i need something that stands out. i be feeling bad if i go in a spot and the sales person is like "smell this, smell that." i just be like "nope, nah, no" to damn near everything.

i think that's why i don't care if i gravitate to certain "women's" fragrances cuz too much of the men's stuff is too obvious to me, you know?

Maison Margiela's Under The Lemon Trees & Hermes' H24

Yes. Both. A couple I already mentioned are unisex. One of my favorite's though is Carolina Herrera's 212 NYC (not the men's one, the women's one).

>Do you mix your fragrances (wear more than one at a time)?

Nah. I want to sometimes but I'm scared i'mma do the wrong ones (is it even possible) and smell like a dumpster. I need to research if you can even fuck it up, lol.

Baccarat Rouge 540 ($450)

I typically rotate with the seasons.

My go-to for years was Acqua Di Gio Profumo (SPECIFICALLY Profumo. There are tons of ADG flankers and they all are very different) but that has been discontinued and I'm on my last bottle so I use it sparingly now. Super versatile - day/night, regardless of season. I considered that one my signature scent for years because of it's versatility while being unique. (Again, the Profumo flanker specifically is a standout.)

In the spring and summer I really like Prada L'Homme. Has a light, fresh laundry style scent. Creed Aventus is a year round favorite that I'll grab when I can't decide because it just always works (that one is the most expensive that I have, but it's also popular enough not that it isn't unique enough for me to justify buying another bottle).

Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille is something I wear often for date nights. Speaking of Tom Ford, I like Ombre Leather Parfum as almost an updated version of Tuscan Leather.

In terms of layering scents I've done it but rarely. To me if only works when you have a couple that are one note in complexity. Or all base and not top or vice versa. And that typically means if I have something that I don't really like too much, because I prefer to wear one fragrance that evolves itself as I wear it.

i just wear cologne for me and me only, so if i'm feeling like i wanna smell like whatever it is, i throw it on regardless of what the calendar says.

i'd say my favorite scents are citrus or fruit-centric in general, which usually screams "spring/summer" but i throw them on during a winter blizzard if i'm feeling it, lol.

i was * THIS * close to copping that Prada but walked around the store for another 30 mins and ran across something i liked more (i forget what it was).

>Do you wear fragrance(s) everyday?

I have to wear something if I'm going to dinner or some other date. If I'm just running to the grocery store or to get something from the drive-thru, I won't bother.

>If so, what have you been wearing the most in the last few
>months?

I've fallen for the "pheromone" joints in my IG feed. The Alloura ones that are kinda dupes of other popular scents didn't get any reaction, but the oil roller from Cupid's makes my gf hug up on me a little more.

>What are your all time go to's that you'll always have in your
>rotation?

Bleu de Chanel and Burberry Touch. I think someone here said they'd rape a dude if they smelled BT, so that always stuck out to keep it on hand, lol.

>Do you wear unisex frangrances, or even ones that are labelled
>for the opposite gender/sex?

Tyler the Creator's French Waltz is a really heavy floral scent, and it lasts long af. I have to make a point to wash that shit off before I go to sleep and take off the undershirt I wore that day.

>Do you mix your fragrances (wear more than one at a time)?

I think I got the Creed Aventus+Baccarat mix from hanging with Polow da Don. That's the only combo I know how to do.

>What's the most you've spent on a scent, and what was it
>(c'mon, flex on us)?

Almost all of my scents are the real, full-price versions. All the Tom Ford joints I have are the $230+ sizes from Sephora. I'm looking at Tobacco Vanille, Fucking Fabulous, and Vanilla Sex from where I'm sitting now, but I can't remember which was the most expensive.

I did get hip to the Oakcha site via my IG feed and got a box full of "expensive" dupes for less than $200. I'm afraid to get the real Baccarat and Creed fragrances and leave them in a hotel, or even worse, over my gf's house, cuz I know them shits will be taken as finders keepers.

I’m planning on copping that Tobacco Vanille next.

I tried TF’s latest vanilla scent and it has an odd after smell. Not a fan

Another scent I like that’s a cheaper option is Spice Bomb. I don’t like the name but it’s cool

that are hard to find in stores, check out a site like scentsplit.com, or fragrancesplit.com where they sell sample size options of everything including niche fragrances you can’t check out at mall type spots.

If you’re REALLY bout it, there’s a Reddit sub called fragsplits where users buy large decanter bottles of niche fragrances and sell them in various small sizes.

Both are good options to dip your toes in the boutique market. And when you start to get a decent collection honestly a good larger sample size (like a 10ml) can last a while in the rotation. Also perfect to take when traveling.

and Malin + Goetze Dark Rum (not due to y'all, lol).

i also was about 3 seconds from copping that Maison Francis Kurkdjian Oud Satin Mood, then i realized it smells almost exactly like Egyptian Musk which is like $10 for a roller of oil, so i copped the oil instead, LOL. it also smells almost exactly like Tom Ford Noir which i think is even cheaper than the MFK.

these ones, from y'all's "suggestions" didn't do it for me:

Santal 33
Bond No. Greenwich Village
Creed Aventus
Creed Virgin Island Water

I forgot to stop by the Louis store, while I was near it, to check out that Ombre Nomade (and their other frangrances). hopefully I'll get it done during Christmas shopping.

A couple I put on my radar while at Bloomingdales checking out the Bond No. 9 stuff:

Byredo De Los Santos
Memo Paris Cappadocia (their African Leather was good too but very similar to stuff i have already)

anyways, shoutout to whomever said the Prada L'Homme tho. this shit hitting (and was way cheaper than i expected, lol).

The Cannabis oil roller is dope, too, even though it's a little patchouli -heavy for me.

Italian Kush, Cashmere Kush, and Cowboy Kush from Boy Smells are dope "I smell like weed" fragrances, also.

I feel you tho.

I'll put them on my list to peep (i literally keep a list in my Notes app).

My only "beef" with the Dark Rum is it's TOO light to me which means I gotta spray more for what i want, so it's not gonna last as long. wish it was a little heavier or they made an EDP (i assume it's an EDT - i guess i never actually looked, lol).

De Los Santos gotta be Top 10 all time to me.

Also been wearing Diptyque's L’Ombre dans l’Eau a bit too.

Pretty much my rotation right now is:

MFK Satin Mood
Prada L'Homme
De Los Santos
Philosykos
M+G Dark Rum
L’Ombre dans l’Eau

I've seemed to abandon all my prior go to's, LOL.

I went to Louis Vuitton not too long and checked out there whole line. I was ready to buy something but nothing impressed me. I was kinda bummed about it.
