As a person who really doesn't have a stake in this conflict AND who agrees ethnostates are a bad idea in the 21st century, I also think very few people really care to look at the issue from a deeper perspective and understand what's going onfrom both sides.
From my Twitter stream it would be easy to think that we are witnessing and indiscriminate bombing of Arab targets by Israel. It took me a lot of googling to find out how much bombing was going the other way.
I hate it and wish the US was out of it but I also am not misguided enough to think that US controls this War and have the ability to stop it by just stop arming Israel. I think the US should play a role in de-escalation and helping to end the war ( and from the outside we look like we are doing a bad job at it) but I also think if the US declared it was stopping support of Israel it's Arab neighbors would take it as an opportunity to wipe Israel off the map.
It's complicated and anyone who sees an easy way out of it don't know the history, geography and/or what's going on over there.

earlier in the briefing he suggested that Israel shouldn't bomb Iran's oil reserves and he'd suggest other options....ie it's preferable to bomb residential areas, as long as oil doesn't get touched.

Don't want to see Trump back in the white house, but pretending that this genocidal policy and push for an escalated regional war isn't 100% backed by Biden and the US requires either deflection or delusion....or both.
