"R.I.P. Ed Piskor"


          

I don’t know if anyone here knows who he is but he made this amazing graphic novel about the birth of Hip Hop called Hip Hop Family Tree. He was accused of trying to creep on underground girls and chose to off himself a couple days ago. Just a brutal story all around. Whether true or not, the dude lived for his art and comics and couldn’t live with his rep tainted and being abandoned by his community

I’ve been admiring his work for years.
Finally got the Hip Hop Family Tree omnibus book today.
