Like I am not even a Bey superfan but as I listened to it this morning I was hard press for any sort of criticism of the project to even cross my mind.
I was waiting for someone else to make the Country Carter post to talk about the album but didn't think it would take the form of opening remarks to be criticisms.
Here is a dope read about Beyonce's CMA performance that sparked all of this.

The album is long as hell, so Iāve gotta give it more time before I fully form an opinion on it but so far there are certainly a number of songs I really like.

I donāt like country. Garth Brooks is my steez. That about it.
Wife had the album on when I came home and we ran it back. First listen was solid, but it was repeat listens that did it for me. Bodyguard, Leviās Jeans, Riverdance are my faves. Riverdance might have created a new genre cuz I called it Afro Country House lol, shit goes.
Tyrant, II Hands II Heaven, and that sweet honey buckin round it out for me. She did her thing with this one. Most listened to Bey album since the nasty one she put out a while back haha.
