"what’s the real Diddy story, help me out "

Are there actual credible abuse/trafficking allegations or does everyone just think he’s some pseudo-Illuminati pervert

Twitter is having a ball but I don’t even know what the root of this all is

But I think it actually benefits him that the stories that are coming out are becoming crazier and crazier that it stretched belief.

It has the effect of discounting all the stories.

You don't always have to play devils advocate/take a shitty position in every topic.

It is starting to look even more and more obvious that Diddy is a monster who bribes, blackmails, threatens, buys-off, etc for a lot of things...and/or has connections that protect him.

Please at least have as much smoke for Diddy as you do for the young man who lit himself on fire to protest a US-funded genocide. Please. It's not a tall ask at all.

I think he does have the videos. In the lawsuit those are still pics from the video. The lawyers have probably seen the video, but that won't be in a pdf document.

Who thinks the second verse to Nas’ Purple is about Puff.

He obviously name drops him in the random intro but that second verse is very descriptive to the point it’s about someone.

I’ve said that a few time and no one seems to agree which is cool. Maybe I’m reaching but Nas was going at everyone at that time.

Not everyone of course, but you're not going to publicly accuse someone of something illegal if you were doing it too and there's potentially video of you doing it.

because if you did, you would simply read the transcripts of the court filings.

like its literally all there in black and white

just admit that its difficult for you to believe how fucking awful so many men are but very easy for you to believe that women lie.

just admit it.

because this time, its a man making the allegations. maybe y'all dickheads will believe him.

Has to do with reading the transcripts, which is objectively the best way to get a full understanding of the allegations.

Or, bare minimum, googling the situation and reading any number of summaries that already exist on the subject.

What’s the correlation to those being the best ways to obtain the info you said you wanted, and “having a miserable world view addicted to the internet”?

Can you provide provide a direct, concise answer to the actual question being asked, without canned, generic message board retorts?

Sat next to each other in two separate classes for a full Spring semester , we had a group project in one. You were so funny and thoughtful. That person is not the same person who threw that negativity at me in the above post. YOU came at ME with the negativity. To imply that I’m deliberately trying to be some ignorant toxic chauvinist without saying it outright is wild man.

You need to consider that maybe I just TRULY didn’t know the details on Diddy. Rather than read a bunch of conflicting reports, I thought I could gain more valuable insight in a funnier and more efficient way here. There’s a lot of well-informed and also hilarious people on here. Ya know, that’s why people want to join communities in the first place right? For conversation?

What the hell?

>Sat next to each other in two separate classes for a full
>Spring semester , we had a group project in one.

This is true but that doesn't rise to the level of 'legitimate friends'. Firstly, this was 15 years ago and I don't remember what you look like or what your name was. We never exchanged numbers or hung out outside of class and I literally know nothing about you other than the wack shit you post half the time on these boards. Friends, how?

You were so
>funny and thoughtful. That person is not the same person who
>threw that negativity at me in the above post.

I'm still hella funny and thoughtful AND i don't fucking have any patience when having to explain misogyny and abuse to men. Maybe you're unaware that people can be many things at the same time? That none of us are just one thing?

Cuz if we were legitmate friends, as you say, then you would know that about me already..but alas...

YOU came at ME
>with the negativity. To imply that I’m deliberately trying
>to be some ignorant toxic chauvinist without saying it
>outright is wild man.

I communicate directly and said exactly what i meant. if you don't understand the ways in which you, A WHITE MALE, have internalized sexism and misogyny (and white supremacy), then that's on you. Your defensiveness is clear evidence of your own ignorance. Look into it.

>You need to consider that maybe I just TRULY didn’t know the
>details on Diddy.

i don't NEED to do shit but stay Black and die.

you'll be ok.

to wrap it up, Sean Combs is an evil rapist. Period end of story.

Any other questions?

I get the feeling she and diddy were working together on this. That he got wind of a case or two that had been filed based on the mandate in NY and he called her up with a big paying favor and obliged. Cause he knew every case afterwards would look like a fake money scheme and be easily tarnished by public opinion and claims so ludicrous that most major journals would reconsider taking the risk to publish them.

She could’ve have a win-SUPER win cause 9x’s outta ten a jury would have awarded her $300mil from all the damages ANNNND she could’ve put a full fledge book out on some ‘Hear my cry’ shit, which we all would’ve been salivating for and discussing for ages. IMO her decision not to go through with the allegations is extremely flawed.

How quickly he ‘caved’ is flawed too. Settling didnt make him look guilty nor innocent, it just made them look like a match made in hell.

How would that help him given everything that came out in her lawsuit and the way it encouraged more people to file.

Because she covered all the harsh, gruesome and horrific shit. What more would there be to be said, aside from saying where she helped bury the body(ies)?

Also lets keep in mind that her claim/charge came rt around when people were tying him to TuPac’s murder. Its much harder to downplay a case of pre-planned murder than an allegation of rape. Reason I say this is because one comes with heavy social stigma but humans tend to get preoccupied and if the allegation doesnt turn into court case it loses it’s hot topic spot, and the other can get a life sentence handed by the court of law.

Once he opens that door anything and everything can make it worse.

He could get another murder charge or a closer look at one you mentioned. He could get a steady drip of people coming out with accusations. Even without court cases if it keeps coming he can't escape it.

18 companies cut ties with him.

He aint even running now with 5 allegations since Nov. Songs still being played, businesses still doing business w/him, henchmen still discreetly henching. He aint missing a beat.

And if we’re being honest, most of us can barely recall more than one name of those that made allegations, Cassie and ??? We not really caring like that, we just feel some kinda way upon hearing about it.

He ran to Instagram to say enough is enough after one of the lawsuits came out. Had to step down as Revolt chairman and his Hulu reality show was canceled. His brand is taking a hit no matter how much they play his songs.

We don't have to remember the names because the media will repeat all of it every time they talk about him, the same way the talk about the Cassie lawsuit now, when he already settled that.

Stepping down doesnt mean stepping out and putting a show on hold or cancelling it could be a nice tax write-off for exec producers.

Even if the media reports it, which has been very minimal and brief since Cassie dropped her case, we wont recall those names like we would Cassie. Unless a big or bigger name comes forth, the other cases may not see the light of day for decades if at all.

It took 50 names just for Cosby’s case to finally get into court 2-3 decades after its initial filing. It took big names like Uma Thurman, Gwyneth Peltrow, Lupita Nyong’o and 104 more names, the majority well known to get Weinstein behind bars. Even with a full blown video of Kels urinating on a child and having a falsified govt document of marriage to another child is not what put him behind bars but decades long allegations of victims, parents and social and media public embarrassments and targeting not to mention he no longer was a financial source to anyone, it what finally led to him behind bars decades later.

I feel the exact same will happen with Diddy.

If he already downplayed it.

Stepping down hurts the brand even if it's not stepping out. If downplaying it worked no need to step down. A successful show is worth more then any tax write-off. If downplaying it worked no need to cancel the show before it airs.

National media is still covering this, a few days ago NBC ran a story about the amended complaint from his producer, where he doubles down on a shooting in a studio that he says Pdiddy and his son was there.

If it was minimal you wouldn't see these lawsuits in USA Today, NY Times, AP, LA Times, ABC news, Washington Post, CBS News. Nobody has to recall the names when sexually assault or rape lawsuit is next to his name in the media. If downplaying it worked national media would not run those stories.

If Pdiddy worked with Cassie to get rid of a murder charge, it's not helping helping him to live under the threat of jail indefinitely and never ending damage to his brand from lawsuits that never go away. Not to mention the amount of money spent on lawyers and new settlements.

>I feel the exact same will happen with Diddy.

If it does, that would be worst then trying to beat a murder charge where the DA has no evidence and he needs a jury with no reasonable doubt, to get a conviction.

To a degree.

I feel Diddy is guilty of a lot of things, but the news runs off sensationalism. While the other cases have been steadfast in publication, I’ve only noticed Cassie’s mentioned via media (10 o’clock news). Can diddy be taken down w/out a known name attached, eventually but it will take more time.

Even when looking at the list of those sexually assaulted and raped by weinstein, it took decades before one common known name actress popped up, then the flood gates open and multiple dozens of well known actresses and models started speaking up, which finally lead to weinstein’s arrest and speedy trial.

That’s not to say weinstein wouldn’t have been arrested and jailed if none of the names were well known but it would have taken a much longer time, perhaps another decade even.

Cause I believe diddy is criminal minded enough to buy himself some time?
Yall see it, but too busy piling on the bandwagon to run over my thoughts on this. It’s as if you really can’t comprehend anything beyond what’s put in front of you so you choose to attack it.

Had Cassie taken the case to trial, how easy would it have been for diddy to be roaming free?
We all know he made an arrangement to save his ass, who’s to say she participated willingly and he doesnt have something on her or is a continued threat to her life, so she went along?
It doesnt make Cassie the bad guy, she and others are the victims of a psychopath.

Also Cassie was not the first to make claims against diddy concerning abuse, it was Gina Huyhn, but for whatever reason (being assumed a gold digger, having her interview with controversial Tasha K perhaps), her words were glossed over or completely dismissed.

Not that part, which is flawed on its on.

Throw in the towel on the quote below.

"I get the feeling she and diddy were working together on this. That he got wind of a case or two that had been filed based on the mandate in NY and he called her up with a big paying favor and obliged. Cause he knew every case afterwards would look like a fake money scheme and be easily tarnished by public opinion and claims so ludicrous that most major journals would reconsider taking the risk to publish them."

It's a stretch. so the piling on comes with it. Plus too many contradictions in your comments.

Given that Cassie wasn't the first, getting her to put out a story when the first accusation is not getting the same level of attention, only hurts Pdiddy.

Here’s the thing, Im not saying the nigga innocent. IMO he’s guilty of a lot of shit including Kim’s murder.

What I am saying is that we all recognize he has the financial resources to keep hench men/women on a payroll as well as marketing/pr gurus who for the right amount can make anything fizz or flop. The same might could be said for his constant bed buddies. How do you keep screwing a guy who consistently proves to you he’s pos? Then when finally mustering up the spirit to put his ass on blast, chooses to settle for $30mil? A jury and a book deal would’ve blessed her far far more. So why settle?

It’s funny that well meaning average everyday Bill’s&Brenda’s go to work for evil ass corporations everyday, yet seeing how one person could assist a rich evil bastard is so absurd.

you just said he killed Kim Porter. She was talking all types of scary shit to Al B Sure who told her to go to the FBI.

and you wonder why she took 30 mill vs trying to write a tell all book?

we also know Cassie was mad young when she linked up with him so its not surprising at all that she was doing those things and see it as “love” until she wakes up one day and realizes its hate.

Look at Kimora and Russell Simmons. Its common to see young women with older rich ass power players who abuse them or treat them as property.

"and you wonder why she took 30 mill vs trying to write a tell all book?"

have not been disclosed. An industry cat I follow on IG mentioned, shortly after the settlement, that he'd heard the settlement amount was more than double what she was initially suing for and what she had been attempting to settle on with him for some time before this all came to light.

And who’s to say Cassie couldnt have an “accident” now or her husband sudden erroneous business partners were to glitch on them?

She might be richer but she’s still not safe. Taking it to court would at least link him, his business, friends, family & associates solidly if something were to happen to her.

In terms of long term safety, she is safer if he is locked up. Hate to say but she had the strongest case against him and everyone else’s is being thrown around as gossip with a handout. Unless MJB, Usher, Faith, his kids or someone else with a known name and just as much dirt files, he’ll be free to inflict whatever on whoever.

How do yall completely miss this fact. She states that Diddy forced her to have sex with sex workers. Granted they were being paid, that doesnt mean they wanted to have sex with her but felt convicted to either based on not getting paid or being physically assaulted or murdered.
Cassie should have turned down Diddy’s settlement and seen the case through. The fact that she didnt, causes me to question her motives for filing. Doesnt mean I dont believe her, but I dont believe she did it just to get money from him, however I do believe he still holds some possession over her.

I think most of you are wrapped around Cassie’s allegations and victimization. And to be honest, w/ a nigga like diddy there’s no way she wasnt victimized. However, we dont know how far his reach in her life goes, nor how thick the dirt. Cause it makes no sense financially or morally to not push her case to court and instead settle for $30mil and a hush contract.
She could’ve gotten so much more from a jury and book deal ($300mil or more) AND put him in jail which wouldve made every case after hers solid. Instead her acceptance left a black hole of allegations that we only recall during the hour we first heard them despite a multitude of social media gossip coverage, so all of it looks questionable and instead of actual justice being done, were left wondering…or forgetting.

This happens over and over and over again until the case ends up in court which is still years if not decades down the line. We saw it with Cosby, Kells and Weinstein. Now we seeing the same play out with diddy. And thats if he dont croak like Hefner.

I don’t think this was ever a criminal case and Diddy prolly has too much influence for NYPD to charge him.

but ever since Biggie was killed folks been calling that nigga the devil.

not sure where you are getting these theories but they are wild as hell. Too much Law and Order

So just ignore that all 5 allegations kicked off shortly after TuPac’s supposed killer confesses??? Do yall negroes know Diddy owns Biggie’s trust? Of course dude evil as fuck but whats with yall thinking I’m reaching when he has so much to lose???

All Im saying is I can see him conning a chic he been conning since her childhood to go through that process for the sake of buying him time and having every allegation after go wood. Aside from Cassie, who else can you name w/googling?

There could be 80 allegations against dude and guess what, none of that is a guaranteed guilty charge or sentencing. Its just gossip.

Cassie filed because NY extended a law.

Anything pointing to the atrocities of an evil person should not be ignored.
Also are you saying the only reason Cassie filed was that NY was closing the door on filing? Does that mean should would not have filed if NY had not made that law??? What kind if ‘let me put my bid in rt quick’ logic is that for a woman who’s been violently assaulted, raped and abused by a guy for over a decade?

The Adult Survivors Act was extended one year and a wave of charges were filed. Over 3,000.

This was ONLY to file civil cases that were past the statute of limitations in NY. You couldn’t file a criminal case as fat as I know.

https://www.nysenate.gov/newsroom/in-the-news/2023/brad-hoylman-sigal/new-york-times-final-wave-sex-abuse-lawsuits-one-year

and I loathe when folks say “so what you are saying” and then saying what they want to hear to challenge a point that wasn’t posted by the person.

You really are asking why she waited? We know why women wait or don’t say shit. Its because people like you blame the victim or make up conspiracies that sound crazy. First off, she was mad young when this was happening and some women see control as a form of love. I have once tried to date a young woman who said if “you love me, you will hit me.” She had a haded view of love.

Anyway, rich old men tend to date young because they can get over on younger kinds and control them while claiming its love. Is usually later in life or once they get replaced that they realize they were abused. Hell, sometimes dating someone new who treats you with respect opens your eyes and you realize your last relationship. was really fucked up.

Especially if they blow up your new boyfriends car.

From what I gathered Cassie left, got married to a millionaire and was doing fine until Siddy started stalking her. I get her filing and there’s no such thing as too late when it comes to being violated. I dont doubt that the things that she states did happen to her.

But I dont put it pass diddy to further use her in some way to further cover his ass. Unless another Cassie or bigger name comes forth, it will be a decade or decades before he’s held accountable for his crimes. You want to argue how I feel about Cassie and if she’s telling the truth, Im saying two things can be true at the same time. He did everything she said AND he’s using that along with whatever he can hold over her to cover his ass. Cause if history hasnt taught is anything, when it comes to high profile rape cases they linger in the court of public opinion for decades before the rapist is finally convicted or dead.

Yes it’s hard to believe the public figure that you came to know was hiding a monster. The guy is POS. Period.

I’m not questioning the shit that happened to Cassie at all. Im questioning how after going through all that with a crazy stalking murderish ex, she settles for $30mil and a hush contract. As compelling as the allegations are, a jury not only would have awarded her much much more but also locked his ass up for 15+ AND other’s allegations after would have added on more years and they all could’ve hit him up with civil suits. She couldve deaded his ass a minute ago.

Why are yall okay with just hoping the nigga go to jail and hoping other shit comes to light?
Its like yall want entertainment and constant gossip over justice.

Asking for $30M means she would be fine with $20 or $15.

Being killed??? How? Now if you had said it keeps her from having to retell and defend her story, then yes, but none of that is murder proof. To be honest, him going to jail alone wouldnt either but it would significantly lessen the chances of her life being harmed by him and it would have given other victims more ground to stand on with their cases and drained his power and reach (finances/clout).

Rt now he’s scott free and she can still get touched. $30mil is not stopping that.

Of course going civil was the right thing to do, but she dropped the civil case and settled with the devil.

Had she stuck to the civil suit, more than likely she wouldve won much more than the settlement and it would’ve made any criminal suit against him stronger.

Maybe its just me but wasnt her personal business still put out there and scrutinized by some? How many social media outlets read and recited her claims? Isnt her claim available online for anyone to read?

I can see her not wanting to come under prosecution and leaving it up to a jury to decide, however I think she couldve still filed as ‘Jane Doe’ and gotten that $30mil or more from him.

Cassie is married to a millionaire and granted more money is always nice but if we are in agreement that diddy murdered Kim then shouldnt she want his ass in jail too to weaken his reach? Top it off wasnt he stalking her online prior to her filing? If he’s that damn nutty to do that shit in public, how far does any amount of money go? She could have pushed the civil case for a full fledge verdict and also pushed a criminal case against him as well, awarded more and had him locked up. But just like she free, he free and he has enough money to pay her whatever settlement they agreed and anyone else to do what he wants concerning her.

Exactly putting out crazy stories will not make people doubt the original accusation, it makes them look closer.

with this recent raid.

Sex Trafficking can mean anything from hiring prostitutes to cross state lines to kidnapping women and forcing them into the sex trade.

Drug Mule. Back in the day they use to call a dude like that your weed guy.

Not trying to defend diddy but it would be good to cut through the social media gossip and hysterics (sounds like he didn't actually flee to Cape Verde) and here what is really going on.

Throw enough shit at a wall and something will stick

Especially when there are already rumblings out there

Had she made this about Lebron or Steph, two guys with zero hints of anything like this in their lives and it came to pass, it would be a dope “called it!” under her cap, but even then it wouldn’t be all that impressive.

There are diddy stories going back decades and the Cassie suit hit in November.

In terms of time frames, March/April covers 1/6 of the calendar. Not great odds but not so high that it’s astonishing.

That’s without getting into the possibility of inside information.

A skilled charlatan knows how to manipulate all that shit in order to present the illusion of prescience.

That’s the most plausible explanation by a mile.

She says this and the suit hits the next day, “she’s psychic!” is not a reasonable conclusion.

>then she said he would face more trouble at the END of
>March/Early April around Easter. Shit hit on March 24th/25th

And entire economies are built on people playing and winning games of chance.

If we just counted all the times people won at slots, the lottery, etc, and ignored all the misses, it would look like those games always produced those results.

What you just did was break it down to 1/26 chance, since that covers a roughly two week window. Not great odds, but not astronomic either.

Still, the art of deceiving people in a way that makes you appear to have magical/mystical powers or some otherworldly connection to some spiritual plane is an age old scam.

Do you also think John Edwards talks to dead people?

For someone who doesn’t fuck with these frauds, you sure seem impressed by this one.

its either Jay or Dr Dre if you wonder who will be next on that summer jam screen.

and it has nothing to do with marriage.

Being married doesn’t stop you from being a POS. Not saying Jay is but O get why his name comes up.

I get the feeling Homeland Security and diddy were working together on this. That he got wind of a case or two that had been filed based on the mandate in NY and he called the federal government up with a big paying favor and obliged. Cause he knew every raid afterwards would look like a fake witch hunt scheme and be easily tarnished by public opinion and claims so ludicrous that most major journals would reconsider taking the risk to publish them.

Poor frank.

But lets also note, first raid on kels was in 02. Still took close to 2 decades to jail him, not to mention an additional decade from the first allegations.

Hopefully these raids are not as far spaced out from an actual trial.

That shit is standard, 101, any given sermon on any given Sunday boilerplate.

I get what you're asking, but he's basically just quoting the bible.

https://www.sharefaith.com/blog/2014/07/30-blood-of-jesus/

Even if he didn't say it specifically about this in the context of this case, I guarantee he's said made that statement damn near verbatim hundreds of times.

Pointing out that a pastor's quote was just basic doctrinal boilerplate doesn't remotely qualify as a "rant", religious or otherwise.

It was a simple statement of fact that was 100% relevant to the subject.

>but its clear you need to be “right” so congrats for
>declaring yourself correct.

Wrong again. Pointing out that the reply was weird in light of the fact that I was correct isn't "needing to be right". It's a simple observation of fact.

Conversely

You- and most people, frankly- are so adverse to accepting that they were wrong/overreached/etc that they'd rather deflect or detract than admit it.

Like you and brew are doing right now.

Feds noticed him quietly selling properties and rushed to stop him before him left the country.

They messed up the raid order. If they coordinated properly both raids happen simultaneously but they didn't. LA happened first while he was in Miami, allegedly, on star island. This gave him extra time...

Cape Verde is a tourist destination was out to begin with in my opinion. A possibility exists that evidence is on that plane but we'll never know. He can't go to the real hideaways because the spotlight is on him.

Allegedly the feds are having issues accessing his server containing security footage because it's out of the country... They did capture his alleged drug mule.

Puff upset billionaires and now he's paying for that. Crimes of sexual nature and any kind in general are heinous. If he's guilty he will be punished until then innocent until proven guilty.

and he was STILL writing songs for Celine and them and making gospel albums and trapped in the closet.

Cosby was popped for shit he did 20 years prior and jailed after the law said he wouldn’t be prosecuted for his deposition.

We say this shit cause WE mostly ask why the fuck aren’t these dudes in jail when there is all types of evidence… whether rape, assault, drugs… or maybe killing Biggie or the Shyne shit or Kim Porter and countless other grimy shit..

and we know why

its because they were all making the industry tons of money.

So when shit finally comes home to roost we wonder who they pissed off because obviously they had protection for decades.

We know most these dudes are grimy. The question is why nothing is done about it for so long while and why they are posing with presidents, princes and Billionaire power players.

then all a sudden, no one fucks with them anymore.

Why is that? - BDP

Any example I bring up might place in me trouble.

The Cosby example below is the wrong one to use. Use another tragedy related to him.

Black American celebrities have to stay in their lane and avoid upsetting those with true power. Those of us regular folks gotta chill too. There's a reason why Lisa Bloom and Tarana Burke didn't go after Les Moonves the same way they criminalized Cosby...

I was under the impression that you had a specific example of Puff having done that, based on what you said originally.

R Kelly was on camera and it didn’t matter for another 15 years.

Apparently the entire industry knew shit about Puff, because it’s a flood now. That doesn’t happen while people are making huge amounts of money. And here we are.

I truly hate that shit like QAnon has kernels of truth in it, because there are times when you can look at these stories and KIND of understand why they believe that shit.

When they are at the height of their power, its an open secret no one can challenge them. But power don't last forever.

That's why my momma says you got to treat people right all the time.
