It's Black History Month. If Reinaldo Marcus Green messed this up, then it'd be on sight for him.
Thankfully, BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE is a highly entertaining biopic.
Kingsley Ben-Adir really did a good job bringing Bob to life. But it's Lashana Lynch who steals the movie as Rita. Lashana Lynch is overdue to lead her own movie.
Not gonna lie, I felt mad nigga-ish at points to get up and start dancing. The urge was there (shout out to Super Sour Diesel).
I got some problems with it. It falls into the usual biopic trappings too often, but it was solid.

When Jamie played Ray… I forgot it was Jamie and I saw Ray Charles.
When Denzel played Malcolm.. I saw Malcolm.
Even Will in Ali.. I saw Ali.
and maybe its because I’m not familiar with the actor that I had reservations when I first saw the trailer. I’m looking forward to this movie.
