where they good?
Policy of Truth is dope af.
**************** TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*
Best of 1984: People are people: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scdsNOJsWDY <-This song came out in 1984 and sounded so different from most other things on the radio it was crazy.
Master and Servant - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSbpm472o3w Another crazy catchy song from the same record. About 40% of industrial albums take something away from this- I hear this more than Cabret Voltaire.
DM was the first concert i ever went to when i was in middle school (Violator tour, then saw them again 1993, then one more time 2006)
friend of mine sent me a clip of them in brooklyn a couple weeks ago.. dave gahan's voice sounded kinda shot :/ (but he's also well into his 60s i imagine..original poster, hope you still enjoyed..--id say still worth checking out if you've never seen them, but obvs they're past their prime era)

Dave was in rare form voice wise (sounded great) he kept his dance theatrics to a minimum surprisingly. The tore it up last night! These ninjas have hit after hit. Homie Martin sang Home and they did Never Let Me Down Again. Seeing those songs live wells a religious experience. They covered a lot of their repertoire from late 90s on.
Ultra is such an underrated album and Halo and their others remixes (gawd they are remix kings) are typically as good if not better than their album versions.
These dudes are .. dare I say.. funky.. live. This was my thrift time seeing them and it’s been like 20 or more years. I wasn’t gonna amiss them this go round what with everyone around d us passing etc

I love People are people, Never Let Me Down Again, but those had already been called out and gotta hit the obvious jams. Absolutely a prolific band with a deep and diverse library.
