he just split with Jodie in september. I don't even think he is divorced yet. he was cheating on Jodie while she was pregnant. and Jodie was the one that got down on one knee and proposed to him.

this is why Michelle Obama was so refreshing. Most of us where side eyeing Obama at first and assumed his wife would be something other than Black af. When Michelle came out we we were like okay, we know that dinner table aint on some bullshit.
I remember a discussion on here about this and a Black woman linked to someone who dated white and her answer was she preferred to come home and not have to hear about her SO’s frustration with race or the weight of it all. That confession sounded wild af to me.

like...when i think of the biggest black actors and actresses in hollywood, unless i'm tripping, their spouse or partner is black more often than not.
