I'll just say conservatives are just saying non-Black people (especially those who want to ally with conservatives like Vivek) should reject woke-ness.
Woke is a Black way of viewing things going back to blues icon Leadbelly telling Black people to "stay woke" about a certain state where Black males were being charged unfairly for false accusations to now Badu/Muldrow "Master Teacher"

Conservatives say non-Blacks or businesses, military, schools, culture should reject the Black way of viewing things.
I know Black intelligentsia would assert: "it's not the 'Black' way of viewing things but the informed, deeper, realistic, accurate...way of viewing things"...
...but...
...however...
Recent history has shown people now feel you have to choose a "side" so...noone anymore will agree on what the "accurate" way of viewing things is...which is why conservatives now keep trying to assert slavery was not bad when the "accurate" viewing for a long time was that slavery was so bad that it was the basis for the Civil War.
No more accurate or woke view, just choose a side.

Nah, maybe for independents who are practically Republicans, but anyone who is absolutely NOT REPUBLICAN IN THIS ERA MUST CHOOSE A SIDE. made it ripe for use in a mocking way. They see it as grammatically incorrect and therefore flawed. Then it was used by alot of people they see as on the fringe and silly (what they would call SJWs). It was begging to be flipped because of these two facts.
