Up for the legend.

One of the greatest voices and illest flows in hip hop history.

Frankly, he hasn’t received nearly enough flowers for his immense contribution.

My love for BNTH runs deep. I need this man to pull through.

And when he does, I need the world to acknowledge one of the Gods in the same way they would if he passed.

He was always my favorite BTNH member; I gravitated to his verses on every one of their songs from the first time I heard them. Love his voice and flow, too.

Hope he pulls thru. This is fucked.

The beat, the flow, the singing, this shit is quintessential Kray.

That dichotomy between hard street dude and spiritualist is on point.

This shit is GOSPEL.

East 1999 was the first e for explicit tape I ever bought. Bootleg from the swap meet and the sound was awful but I wore that shit out.

They def don’t get enough credit for the rap-singy stuff.

The first was “Playa Hater” of Flesh’s first solo, which had Krayzie and Layzie on it, about 6 months before It came out.

The second was Krayzie’s “It’s All Real” off Art Of War, with about the same timeline.

I was in totally different places when I first heard it in the dream than I was when I heard the actual song. They were the first group that had me hooked to where I had to get my hands on everything the second it dropped. That was my introduction to that deeper level of hip hop fandom.

The Flesh joint:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtTQ3kH87Ug

I only ask because most people are referring to Hatin Nation, due to the hook saying "player hater":

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwW_VEkzQjI

Both are dope, but I prefer the Flesh joint. Kray does his usual thing on Hatin Nation though, as do the rest. But the Flesh joint has such a smooth, bouncy flow from all three that it's just ear candy.

I got to see Bone a few years ago and I didn’t care if the whole group wasn’t there, as long as Krayzie was there.

In addition to OutKast, Bone was a group I’d buy a whole soundtrack for just to hear their one song.

Apparently the coma/ventilator reports are untrue, which I'm happy to hear.

It was odd that the reports suddenly went ice cold after the initial wave of them.

It's from a tabloid though:
https://www.nydailynews.com/2023/09/25/krayzie-bone-hospitalized/#:~:text=Krayzie%2C%20whose%20real%20name%20is,inflamed%20tissue%20clusters%20called%20granulomas.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s Krayzie Bone is hospitalized and in “life-threatening” condition.

According to All Hip Hop, the rapper is “fighting for his life” after checking into a Los Angeles-area hospital on Friday “after he started coughing up large amounts of blood.”

Krayzie, whose real name is Anthony Henderson, reportedly suffers from sarcoidosis, a rare condition where a person’s immune system overreacts and causes inflamed tissue clusters called granulomas.

Henderson, 50, was examined at the hospital and a CAT scan found an artery in one of his lungs was leaking. He underwent emergency surgery but the bleeding did not stop. He was purportedly put on a ventilator and sedated in the intensive care unit on Sunday.

According to TMZ, Henderson will undergo a second surgery on Monday in hopes of stopping the bleeding.

“Pray 4 Kray,” bandmate Bizzy Bone posted on his Instagram Story. “Can’t sleep. Sometimes you just gotta pray.”

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, who is also from Ohio, offered his support for the rapper on social media.

“Prayers to Krayzie man!!!!” the Akron native posted.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony formed in 1991 in Cleveland, Ohio by Krayzie Bone, Bizzy Bone, Flesh-N-Bone, Wish Bone and Layzie Bone. They won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for “Tha Crossroads” in 1996

“Sarcoidosis most commonly affects the lungs and lymph nodes, but it can affect any organ including the eyes, skin, heart and nervous system,” according to the American Lung Association.

The disease is rare with only about 150,000-200,000 cases in the United States every year and approximately 27,000 new cases per year.
