So the family and I are going on a cruise leaving Galveston. My youngest daughter is a NASA/space fanatic. We were thinking our cruise leaves at 4pm, we surprise her by taking her to the Space Center before heading to the cruise. If they open at 9 be there at 9 spend about 2-3 hours and head out. Is that plenty of time to make it to Galveston, says it's about 45 miles. Never been to Houston so I want to see if I should even think of going to the space center. Also what's a good area to stay in Houston?
