I used the little eye dropper joints and while the application method is still the same as any of the other stuff I used...it took a lot, because my beard is coarse. It just end up feeling super messy and like you, I didn't really care for the glistening look. I want my beard (and more importantly, the skin underneath) to nourished and moisturized, but not shiny. Oils just weren't for me.

I recently found a jar that I hadn't used at all, but it had gone bad and rank. That Cognac one smelled like cookies. I never would've stopped using if she kept going.

but, it really was ahead of its time. The thing I loved most about it is that it WAS whipped. The consistency was much better for me to get it throughout my beard and the smell was amazing.

I did buy some body butter or something like that for my wife a time or two. I used it too and it was great. Just didn’t have a beard then. I think about those products all the time.

not saying it's what happened with Flora's stuff, but interesting still. Makes sense, too...I remember my wife ordered some containers of body butter from this small company. One time it was legit, the next jar arrived and it poured out like water. She put what was left in the fridge but it was never right.

Hard to scale.

There is usually a reason you don't see the big players do certain products.
