Like when the weeks fly by, other people have the same sensation too.
Anyway. That post-Thanksgiving/pre-Christmas period used to be like the back half of senior year of high school and now it feels like we're just cramming in way too much for whatever reason.

Every year they treat December like people are working a full 31 days (no weekends?), when in fact between *real* illness and vacations it's more like a 20 work day month.
EVERY YEAR.
January is a 24 work day month between vacations and MLK day.
Same here. Not only are most people not in the office the full 30, but with so many people out, you'd think they'd know not to schedule so much during this time of year.

All of this.
And people will roll up like ‘let’s have this handled by the 16th cuz that’s MY last day in the office this year. I’ll be back January 9th’. It always blows my mind when people are pushing for certain timelines and they know they’re about to disappear off the face of the earth, then show up and not really be ready to work again until like mid-January.
Especially since yesterday was my first day in the office for 2 weeks.
