This was pretty good. Not great and overall didn't hit very hard. It does seem more consistent than her last album but it's too mellow.

After not liking the first two singles very much, and having grown extremely tired of hearing him on the radio after being a big fan early, I was expecting to hate this album. I don't. It's much better than I expected it to be. Not a masterpiece, not flawless, but it's solid.

This is great. After one listen it's pretty easy to say it's my favorite Lupe album since The Cool. May end up being my favorite over all. I know people thought Tetsuo & Youth was this masterpiece, but i thought there were terrible hooks scattered throughout the album that made certain songs damn near unlistenable. That problem is gone here. And Lupe has always sounded great over jazzy production. A tight tracklist. No filler. Just great throughout.

Kendrick's album was really fascinating as a piece of art. Less so as a piece of music.
