For whatever reason, it felt adult to me. They're skinny-adjacent, but I've become pretty comfortable wearing pants no matter the humidity index.
That said, I do appreciate these young dudes flexing. Lady legs were always my thing which makes the week where summer dresses break out in many ways my most important unofficial holiday, and I think it's great that dudes are offering women the same opportunity to feel the nasty well up in their guts.
I was just watching some 2007 NBA highlights the other day and couldn't help but laugh at my own self in college, wearing t-shirts that draped my thighs and shorts that made my ankles look like twigs.
Especially in your examples specifically, I say let those gym rats cook.
Old Navy has some joints with a zippered pocket that are the sweet spot for me when I’m out and about. They give my legs room to breathe, but aren’t baggy. I don’t need folks to see my quad separation in Walmart, lol. The GymShark ones you mentioned are super clutch for leg day in the spring/summer or when I go walking at the park.

I actually cant wear anything longer than 7” inseam. It feels foolish to me.
