And I see you perception of them is based off what you viewed from the show.
The show was created for entrainment purposes only, and regular tv watchers, who don’t really follow basketball will interpret it as being completely factual, so they will generate a negative observation of the players and people who are being portrayed.

Jerry West is prolly the only one who was painted as an asshole the first few episodes and and his story arc has already turned the corner to show his dedication for the Lakers success.

against the show happening, they’re just not supporting it and of, course they wouldn’t. They’ve got their own projects coming out, so they aren’t going to pump up someone else’s. Magic was just on Get Up, yesterday, promoting his docuseries about to drop on Appletv…and there’s a Lakers-sanctioned docuseries coming out on Hulu, this year. This is a tv show, based off Jeff Pearlman’s book, made by the guy behind movies like Anchorman, Talladega Nights and Get Hard. Lol…it was never supposed to be some hard hitting documentary.
