…totally uncharacteristic.
Some people played me unnecessarily years ago and I did this thing in ‘retaliation’. It really was for some sense of closure on my part. To let them know I know they played me. Almost cost one of them their job/livelihood.
It probably did nothing other than surprise them and show them how crazy I can get.

I felt embarrassed and regretted it for about an hour. After that it felt really good and still does. A 2021 highlight for sure.

Yeah. Petty mightn’t be the right word. They acted unethically…I caught it too late/after the fact. Could’ve reported them to the appropriate body at the time but it was too much at the time and wouldn’t have changed things.

Did it last year just for doing it sake.

just to see where they are in life

my ex still looms good but also has enough filters and hairdos to remind me why I chilled.

I really hope she is doing well. I hope all of them are doing well.

There was a time when I used to get joy out of seeing the ones who played me struggle or have setbacks but wtf was that about? People just made decisions based on their best interest and I damn sure did my dirt in my days.

The game is the game.

great series

its bizarre watching it in 2022 with all their complaints about basically woke culture back then. reminds you how long white folks have been bubbling with hate due to the small progress being made.

trying to keep this spoiler free but it was extra funny seeing aj say he could maybe work as a helicopter pilot for trump lol

There have been occasions where blatantly being an asshole gets that week's post shut down, but those are relatively rare.

Also, were it a relatively new show, within the last year or so, then yeah, the precaution would be prudent. I don't know about 3 months like legs, lol, but the broader point stands:

The Sopranos is old as fuck. Speak freely on it, I say.

>great series

Yep. It holds up really well, but then I've been on it for years, had the DVD's, etc. Shit, I have the entire series on MP3. Not because I'm that much of a mark, but I'm just wired in a way that I enjoy simply listening to movies and shows, and I have a TON of other shit on mp3 too.

That said, it's interesting to get the perspective from someone who is just now seeing it. It's such a time capsule. Not so much the mob stuff, the cultural touchstones. They're boosting DVD players and whatnot.

>its bizarre watching it in 2022 with all their complaints
>about basically woke culture back then. reminds you how long
>white folks have been bubbling with hate due to the small
>progress being made.

This. While the overt racism and classism is alarming, I always thought they balanced this well by more or less making all of them buffoons.

>trying to keep this spoiler free but it was extra funny seeing
>aj say he could maybe work as a helicopter pilot for trump
>lol

Ha! He's such a whiny little bitch. I genuinely wonder where he and Meadow would stand in today's social/political climate.

Carmela would be Queen Karen IMO.

A few thoughts. Season 1-4 were great, hard to find anything to complain about. I didn't really enjoy season 5 as much. Seemed like a lot of table setting and kind of a mess. 6a was awesome, only weird thing was for it to end how it did but since it was technically a 2 part season thats fine. 6b was good but too hectic, almost kind of rushed and hectic.

I kind of feel like the therapy was a bit of a crutch for exposition. Kind of wish it lead to something more.

I'm still wrapping my head around seeing the kids grow up into the roles they end up in. Meadow would be full DNC, anti Bernie...maybe. AJ full blown q-anon.

Carmela would be hardcore GOP.

It's amazing how relatable they made all the main characters be. So much so that I gasped inside when I realized they were full blown Bush supporters lol

Tony's sister is probably in my top 10 most disliked characters ever. Poor Bobby.

Damn Chrissy, kept giving me hope he would get it together. The whole Ade thing was heavy.

Sil cracked me up the whole series. Reminds me of an ex-coworker. I kind of want to watch more stuff the actor has been in to see how much he was playing up the character and how much is just him. I'm horrible with actors so no idea if I've seen him in other roles.

I kind of expected the ending since I had heard people were mad that it kind of just ended. The suspense in that scene was intense. I didn't realize I was watching the last episode until I saw him looking at the song list, I had seen a headline about the ending song. So I didn't really come out satisfied with the ending because I was expecting there was going to be one or two more. If I had watching it knowing it was the last episode maybe it would had hit differently.

I think I will end up watching the whole series again at some point which is something I don't really do.

falls of slightly in 4, 5 crushes it, the beginning of 6A is great, then it's spotty the rest of the way, still great but not as good as previous seasons

>I kind of feel like the therapy was a bit of a crutch for

I don't think the show works without it

>It's amazing how relatable they made all the main characters

lol i found this pretty non-shocking. Their whole deal is that they were moral hypocrites. Carm particularly. I think the part that made me that way was Tony's first meeting of Noah. Tony being racist wasn't shocking, but that he was so in Noah's face with it

she's the prototypical far lefty horseshoe turned Trump supporter.

you throw in the death of Bobby, the fall/death of Tony... she'd need a purpose.

late seasons AJ was bernie bro as fuck... like 2016 he'd barge into Meadow's room without knocking, with his laptop to lecture Meadow for supporting Hillary, pointing to the thing he just read on reddit.

AJ definitely was peak lefty years when the show ended but i think he just was all over the place so i dont think he would have stuck with it. more likely would had voted for obama then joined the tea party, voted trump and qanon.

In response to Reply # 0

this started like a month ago. i generally love cheese and like it on basically anything reasonable. only exception has been parmesan. there are probably other ones i didnt love but not sure any that i wouldnt eat.

i ordered some swiss cheese a few weeks back on accident meaning to order provolone. i figured whatever but when i tasted i couldnt really stand it. i think i ate what i made with it but after that i couldnt eat anymore of it. im pretty sure ive had swiss cheese before.

next time i did get provolone which isnt my preferred cheese but i typically enjoy it. it had a similar taste to the swiss and i did not enjoy it anymore.

thankfully muenster, cheddar, colby jack all are still good to me. no idea if theres a reasonable explanation for this. meaning why i dont like these specific ones.

definitely thought maybe this was a covid thing but i was tested like a week before and before after it started for unrelated reasons and was negative both times. as far as i know i havent had covid.

He's on the other side of the fence but his entrance precludes me from ever seeing him - it's on a different block.

But he'll often have outburst yelling at someone - but I never hear anyone talking back.

But the outbursts seem more mentally ill talking to himself than actual conflict with another human.

He might be crazy. Or whoever he's yelling at is responding using sign language only??

he's in the next building across from me. an older guy, he just kind of randomly opens his door and yells things out like "you're a fucking liar", "you're going to jail motherfucker"

a week ago the cops were at his door talking to him for about 25 minutes. and whatever he was requesting they were diplomatically saying they can't do anything but call us if x happens.

now he's doing it slightly less

so happy to finally have some normal people next door.

had a woman who’s adult daughter lived in a tent in the front yard.

and they were always fighting with the white neighbors across the street who were crazy as hell. Finally the white lady who kept talking shit got it slapped all the way out of her mouth… it ended with her leaving strapped to a stretcher while screaming. They stayed calling the cops on each other which blew our high..
