Last minute trip to Tokyo, pit in my stomach as landing, couldn’t get proper directions to pod hotel, pod hotel when finally arrived did not allow tattoos, no shower, spent most of my time in weird pod, found a cafe, booked return flight, famous fish market was closed, went back to the airport, kept getting bumped off flights (golden week), saw mayweather mosbly fight (that was a good), tried to take an island hopper through hawaii, got to guam, got sent back to tokyo hawaii hopper was for paid cargo, finally got home two days later

The events that led to me being hospitalized started with a nightmare in which I felt my soul being ripped through the ceiling and screaming “no” and “help me” the woman I was dating had to wake me from my sleep. Went she did I knew my grandmother had died. Sure enough the next day I got the call. Didn’t even know she was sick.

Its OPEN and in a manufacturing plant. There are about 300 dudes before you get into construction people and there are like 10 stalls for men.

My grandparents go to a timeshare every Labor Day weekend. The last time the rest of the family was invited, my auntie did not bring a dime, so everyone (my grandparents and other auntie) had to factor in paying her tab the whole weekend. My cousin and his wife-at-the-time also didn’t bring a dime, so everyone had to buy their food AND diapers & wipes for the baby. My mom and I were the only people not mad at each other.

3) What has been your most apocalyptic day?

The “Snowpacalypse” day in 2014. Long story short, I left work at 1 PM and ended up almost in a ditch at midnight, while traveling what would be a 15 minute drive on a dry day. A cop took me to a shelter where I stayed overnight. They took some of us to another shelter the next day where some people volunteered to tow my car out of the ditch with their Jeep.

4) What is the worst thing about your office environment?

Pre-COVID: We were kinda stuck in complacency and people just kept doing what they normally do or end up quitting.
During COVID: Actually going into the office, it’s a ghost town and you better pack snacks and put some games and movies on your phone, cuz you’re definitely going to sleep.

5) In your opinion, how does binge watching new TV shows compare to watching week to week?

Weekly TV gives you the cliffhanger feeling, for better or worse. Good if the show is coming back on next week, bad if you have to wait 6+ months for the new season, if it doesn’t get canceled.
Binging gives you everything at once but if you blow through it, touch it out for a year or more, if it doesn’t get canceled.

This is my hangout spot, even if I’m lurking or doesn’t have anything valuable to add.
