San Diego had a hospital hit HARD by ransomware, I'm sure that people actually died.

It's ALL ransomware powered by Crypto blackmail.

Now that's its MUCH easier to get untraceable money, and untraceable money that INCREASE every time Elon Musk posts a tweet.

Without crypto scarfaces there'd be many fewer of these attacks.

figuring out who did the ransoming is hardly ever the problem (even with folks using tumblers)....because it isn't just about the BTC transaction. They can figure out who did it by analyzing tactics, how the ransomware was written, etc, etc.

There are more of these ransomware attacks, because people are paying the ransom. Companies, and I'm sure even schools like Howard, have cyber insurance policies. They get popped, they pay up...easy money...BTC is a convenience, not a requirement.
