We have an established, yet unspoken rule around here that RIP threads are off limits to any commentary that isn't respectful of the deceased. This is not in defense of the deceased or their actions, simply respect shown to the people who choose to mourn. Consider RIP threads like a funeral (respectfully): its not the time nor place for that discussion.
*If you have a criticism/opinion of said party, feel free to start another discussion regarding that.
Bottom line: please stop derailing RIP threads.
**My apologies to anyone that felt slighted because I deleted the original RIP thread for CP (no, I'm not pruning 50 replies). If someone else would like to repost, please do so. Anyone that disregards this msg and continues to troll RIP threads will be put on ice with no further explanation or warning.

This is simply not true. I never suggested that. On the contrary, I specifically stated that anyone that wanted to express their criticism/opinions was free to do so, just not in an RIP thread.
*For the record: I don't give a shit about CP and his brand of politics (which is why I didn't author/reply to the RIP thread).
