"Wu -Tang: American Saga S2 Ep6 Protect Ya Neck "
This shit might be the best scene ever for sampling a track and making a beat.
The way he is eliminating the instruments and singers in real time and the look on their faces while playing Impeach The President
"Everyone wants Phil.. he wasn't shit before I met him, I had to drill his ass!"
I love this series!

I don't have any complaints about the story or flow of the show overall. I think it might be hard to get into for people who are unfamiliar with the Wu, but as someone who was a teen when they dropped, this shit is mad gripping to me. Also good to see the good nature and humanity of so many Black men being highlighted no matter the past they come from. Rza's stepdad posting his bail was an important moment this season. Even something as small as Rae putting Ghost's crib together too.
The only two things that irk me have to do with actors... idk if this guy is trying to sound like RZA or DMX with the low gruff voice, speaking like a robot. Like wtf is he doing? Lol. And dude has Rae's speaking inflection down, but he sounds Charmin soft when he raps his lines. I love Ghost both as a character and actor... his brothers too. Can't help but love Ason. Dave East as Meth is great. Power's character is also a good casting choice.

As I said in the PTP post, the show is at its strongest when its about the musical process. So it's not a coincidence that this episode and the one before it have been the best. (#3 was pretty solid too)
It's still a flawed series, but I appreciate its ambition, even when all the narrative and storytelling devices don't quite land.
I'm still on the fence about Ashton Sanders as RZA. Again, the man is certainly trying to sound like the RZA. ODB is the best part. And Ghost's brothers. I'm glad they're showing more of Deck. I'd like them to show more of the GZA, especially since he's basically the crew's O.G.
