"Talking Shop on a Monday."

I usually don't have a ton to do at new jobs after the initial clean up phase, but I'm actually starting to feel bad about this one.

lol

What y'all up to?

I'm owed 88K+ nfts valued at $16.47 per asset but the corporation is taking too long to exchange stock shares for nft.

Lost another person to covid so stay safe out there.

These old man injuries keep happening on non contact activities for some odd reason.

That is a lot of money. Notify them of your intent to charge interest. 10% annually is typically considered a fair rate. Compute and charge that shit monthly. .83% That's $11k(ish) a month. That's real money.

going to a conference for a couple days next week so boss wants me to take care of everything thats pending. i know that will mean trying to squeeze in daily work during the conference as i cant jump into the future and bring in work to do now lol

my coworker spends half her day complaining on the phone about having too much to do. most of the rest of the time she spends on the phone handling personal business.

I left early and so of course I felt guilty and anxious. Then I remembered no one wants to work right now. They couldn't fire me if they wanted to.

Of course I come in today and it's all smiles and concern.

smh

This is a great time to be an employee.

i would come in like 10 minutes late, take 1.5 hours for lunch. my workload was comically low.

someone ratted me out though, i didnt really face any consequence. boss just told me to cut it out lol

weve been really busy so it is rare for me to have a slow day now.

8 hours per day 5 days a week needs to go away. i vote for 6 hours per day 4 days a week lol

basically all the furniture and supplies we have are what was not good anymore for the important staff lol

they asked us a few weeks back if we wanted anything from their old cubicles. i took a cabinet that does not at all go with my desk but hey its better than stuff stacked on my desk.

their new furniture is being delivered today.

i would get all the new stuff at my old job. oh well.

not enough to complain or reconsider working here. just made me laugh when i saw the new furniture come in.

if things werent in working order it would be a different story.

what i wonder is if they straight up forget about us when they make these purchases or if they are purposely deciding it doesnt make sense to upgrade us along with everyone else.

a couple years back basically everyone got new monitors, wide curving ones. not us. probably over 70 people got them and less than 10 didnt. that seemed like IT forgot to count us when they ordered them lol

this furniture seems more purposeful. it seems more like they are upgrading specifically the sales/customer service departments. maybe people out in production are getting upgraded next year...or decade.
