two of my really smart family members avoided that horrible vaccine and died within 2 days of each other in a FL hospital. they were mother and daughter. the grandkids are devastated
my dumb sister got vaxxed. her smart husband didn't. they both got covid and she recovered after a week of staying home, but during that week, he got worse and is now in a hospital fighting for his life for the last week...

we have a family group chat and shes really opened my eyes to the amount of ignorance and information coming out from farrakhan and the noi.

her and my vaccinated pop (her brother) got covid. my pop shrugged it off like a common cold. she was in icu for 2 weeks...the hospital for a few more...serious lasting lung damage...blood thinners for a while to prevent clots...some other shit.
i know its evil to feel like 'i told you so...' but i dont know how else to react to people like this. its hard for me to find compassion and empathy...even for my own family members.

Please explain what "chain" we're putting around our necks by doing what health EXPERTS know to be best. Which is, incidentally, the same thing we've done with infectious diseases that threaten the public for 200 fucking years.
And secondly, You need to understand that when it comes to public health, it's not just "their body." In addition to their own health, with communicable diseases, each host gives the virus a chance to mutate. The mutations cause the variants, which could potentially be more deadly, more resistant to the vaccine. Vaccinated people are poorer hosts for a virus. Delta has already potentially thrown a wrench into that "poorer hosts," bit. So you can keep going down that "your body, your choice" bit when you clearly don't understand how that doesn't apply to communicable diseases.

Medical workers who pretend to understand relevant science that they don't understand are a menace to the community they claim to serve. They should not be in that line of work if they have so little respect for human life.
