After years in the trenches, I'm adjusting to working in a corporate setting.
Been using this nice lil bag I got for carrying vinyl to haul my laptop, umbrella, etc but after walking back and forth from the office to the commuter train, I'm realizing that a shoulder bag is weighing me down on one side and I might be better in the long run with a backpack that's made for work.
I wanna get something nice, but I don't wanna be the guy with the Gucci drip that's just expensive for no reason.
Any corporate warriors have an opinion or recommendation?

just kidding your profile says female but you indicate in your post that you're a "guy"
At various times I've carried briefcases, laptop bags, backpacks, I hate carrying anything. I currently have a small black military looking cross body bag that I carry occasionally. My biggest fear have something important in it and leaving it somewhere.
I have a younger friend that carried the Gucci cross-body for a while and I constantly gave him shit about it lol
