May the Lord Watch is an unbelievable great piece of artistry...
Big Pooh and Phonte are dope and consistant MCs
I mean Black thought even lifted a line Phonte said on that Foreign Exchange song that should instantly solidify his place in the rap hall of fame.
Can we as a collective get this release trending on the interwebs or at least have a song of theirs become a snipet dance on Fornite or something? I'm trying eliminate at these little squeakers and dance to old people rap music.
Secret hand shakes and string pull if necessary.....

**************** TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*
After No News and MTLW he solidified his place in my personal top 5 forever. He had always been hovering around the 5-7 spot but now he's probably like 2 or 3.
Common Phonte MF DOOM Posdnuos Andre 3000
With honorable mentions to: Royce 5'9, Black Thought, Nas
>that's one of the best ad-libs ever. I sometimes yell it out >randomly at work just to rattle feathers lol
One of my friends and I often talk about funny MCs and I feel like we don't mention Phonte a lot, and we should. He's legitimately hilarious. I think his humor is a little beneath the surface/understated when he's rhyming; in other words I think his humor is more obvious in interviews or when he's on ?uestlove Supreme or whatever. But either way, he's a funny dude.

and “Last Day” are two of the funniest songs in hip hop.
The Jamie Foxx inspired “I am your conscience” on After The Party....actually the blend of humor and poignant truth on that whole song is pretty incredible. The beat and hook too - that one doesn’t get talked about enough IMO.

So either I didn’t notice or didn’t remember. I played Vol. 1 and especially Vol. 2 all the time. Gotta run Vol. 3 a lot more. I was running Benny the Butcher and Sean Boog into the ground, and saving Thought for later on that release day, and then kinda forgot it and never gave it the required spins.

I need computer bots, space aliens and old school street team tactics to create this Tsunami of buzz of how Mr. Phonte, Tigallo the Tenacious, Taynificent Keeper of the Realm and first of his name is a very good rapper or how the young kids would say * tipp tappy tap tap tap tappy tap* (that is the noise of a young kid typing a text message, because these young kids dont talk in the realm of real people they just text and say BRUH aloud)
What say ye fellows? .....

I mean was there suppose to be some free giveaways and New music?
I dont think the Roots played one Little Brother song during the tonight show.
Phonte didnt do a live show via microsoft teams..Is this what i should expect for a phenomenal MC/singer/ but these day dedicated to him was lack luster.

It's an unofficial holiday to recognize one of Hip Hop's greatest
Just listen to a track drink a beer, and eat five flat lemon pepper wings and vibe
This is part of the problem with "Fans" like yourself Mister Baio - Just give the man props and put someone on to the music who haven't heard it.
If you want a free limited edition Little brother T-shirt... I dont have one, want to see a new duet video with Tay and Tay-Tay directed by Taye Diggs it doesn't exist. But there is A great body of work that you and a friend can listen to starring Phonte the Breaker of Wax, Tay the Microphone Slayer, Keeper of the Realm and First of His Name.
Good day to you sir and in the words of Fonzarelli "Sit on it Cha Chi"
