you're both right.
business does not care about people, inequality and indifference is often always used to the advantage of the business.
i.e., we don't want to pay ANY of these people, but because we don't give a single red-haired fuck about any of THOSE specific people in that group, we love that we can not pay them less or nothing at all. FUCK YEAH.
