my parents used to work in a place where they were able to see financial/tax info on everybody. I'm sure they've looked.
I've never explicitly stated it for stupid reasons. I guess, I'm afraid of being hit up for cash even though they don't play that game. This is a "me thing".

i dont know how much my siblings make either. i may have told my parents when i moved to this job but i dont remember.
none of them really know where i work. ive told them where i work. ive explained what the company does. ive shown examples of items we have done. ive given them clothes and doodads with the company logo. ive explained what i do. they still tell me "why dont you want us to know where you work?" im just like huh?
they think i work at a kinkos print center or something. ill get hit up asking about printing invitations or photos im like uh yeah THATs not what we do.
back to the money question. my brother thats in SC recently interviewed for a job in the chicago area. looked like he was going to move there but his current job matched. he told us his pay increased 18k. so im sure theres a calculation i can make to figure it out but eh. im sure hes doing well so its not my business.
i worry about my other siblings but im the only one that doesnt own a house so idk who needs to be more worried lol

Nope. But my lights stay on, we've always had new- but modest- cars, and we have money to go and do shit.
I don't talk to my mom and her man anymore, but for years they would make comments like that, about absolutely everything. They have no clue, really, other than it "must be a lot!" to afford a Camry or a Fusion.
