Sometimes, it's best not to elaborate.
I had a call from a man who was all over the place, to the point where his initial statement sounded like it had nothing at all to do with what I do.
The whole call was rough and I absolutely had to manage my patience because I had to drag every bit of information out of him because he was having a hard time explaining the reason for the call.
All good, that's part & parcel, and we got everything sorted out.
Then he compliments me on my patience, because he knew he was scattered.
Then he says I have a calming voice, and I speak clearly, etc...
... not like when you call and they have someone FROM A FOREIGN COUNTRY AND YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THE HELL THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT.
I really wanted to say, maybe leave that last part out next time.
