Recent example was DMX. I was like hey lets turn up 'Party Up' and get crunk... i swear to god i did not remember any of the lyrics but the chorus. DMX as an artist was really not kind to men of a certain preference.

is that I appreciate his articulation of every aspect of life he's ever expressed. The man is such a poet. Even in "Down Here In Hell" he encapsulates that mindset so well. Almost like you understand the toxic mindset better just from listening to the song lol. This is what great songwriters do. A master with the pen, he could write a song from the opposite perspective with just as much insight.

That song is the reason why he got into some beef with one of The Source female writers, cause of a bad write-up, the song is about what he was thinking but he never did them though; yeah it's ill to rap about it, but he wrote it from a different perspective most wouldn't do which is why the song is cool to me.
