I got the DJI mini 2 and man that's been the best toy I've ever had since the Nintendo 64. The only downside to it is that after one week i immediately wanted to upgrade to get more features (active track, more sensors).
Anyone else into Drones?!?

Or maybe it was for the mini 1. I wanted the smallest one I could travel with, but realized for myself that I need obstacle detection more than I need portability.

who was the DRL champion, I think, twice. Now he flies drones for Hollywood. I asked him if he was always great at video games, or what is it that makes someone a really great drone pilot. He said a lot of the really great pilots are more adrenaline junkies than video game type people. He grew up skiing and credits that high speed, high risk experience for allowing him to think 4 steps ahead flying drones.
Also asked him how often he crashes and how many $ worth of equipment are on the drones he flies for Hollywood. Said he crashed 5 months ago for the first time in 2 years. And each drone is valued at $100-200k in camera equipment, etc
